TERMS AND CONDITIONS


  1. The organizer has the right to close the registration if all the participant quotas have been fully filled.
  2. Registration will be processed after registration payment is completed.
  3. The Operator has the right to cancel the participation registration if an indication of the transfer of hands and/or sale of this registration is found.
  4. The registration fee is non-refundable.
  5. The Organizer reserves the right to limit and refuse registration without reason.
  6. The Organizer has the right to contact and interview Participants by telephone or other means to obtain the necessary data in connection with participant registration.
  7. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse registration if the registrant provides incorrect information, does not make payment or fails to meet the requirements specified in the registration form.
  8. The Organizer has the right to cancel the race in the event of conditions beyond the control of the Organizer, such as extraordinary natural events, heavy rain, lightning, epidemics, riots or any condition that the Organizer thinks endangers the participants.
  9. If the competition is canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Organizer, as stated in Article 8 above, the Organizer will not refund the registration fee that has been received and the Organizer will not be responsible or liable for it.
  10. Running is not a risk-free sport and therefore each runner is obliged to ensure that his/her health condition is fit before and when participating in the competition. Each runner is responsible for their own health condition and by participating in the race, the runner is considered to have understood the risks of the race. The Organizer is not responsible for any injury or death that occurs during or after the race suffered by a competitor who does not meet the above conditions, unless the injury or death is the result of a proven intentional negligence or gross negligence of the Organizer.
  11. The Organizer reserves the right not to allow or disqualify any participant who is known or suspected to be unfit to take part in the competition. If there is a participant who is injured during the race, under certain circumstances in accordance with the recommendation of a health officer appointed by the Organizer to supervise the competition, the participant can be treated at a hospital appointed by the Organizer with the cost of treatment not exceeding the amount agreed upon by the Organizer and the hospital, in the same day as the competition.
  12. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant and/or cancel the result of the competition as a result of a violation or non-compliance with World Athletics or PASI or competition rules. The Operator is not obliged to refund the registration fee in this case.


TIMER CHIP AND CHEST NUMBER

  1. All participants will receive a timer chip tool. Participants are required to wear a timekeeping chip in accordance with the instructions set by the Operator.
  2. Time records for participants will be determined by the time chip tool (clean time) from the time the participant crosses the starting line until the participant crosses the finish line.
  3. Participants are required to always use a timer chip starting from the starting line to passing the finish line.
  4. Participants who use more than one timer chip will be disqualified and the time will not be recorded.
  5. Participants who lose their timing chips will be disqualified.
  6. Participants must start the race after the specified start time.
  7. Participants must wear a bib number on the chest.
  8. In certain cases, due to a technical error, the timekeeping chip cannot be detected, therefore the Participant does not have a record of the time.


ROUTE SUPERVISORY

  1. Any competitor who disobeys the directions, orders, or instructions of the race officials, security officers or marshals (together “Officers”), or participants who perform unsportsmanlike acts, or is offended by the actions or words of the Officers, competitors- Participants or spectators may be disqualified from the competition by the Officer.
  2. Any competitor found by the Officers or supervisory equipment to have a dishonest advantage by shortening the race route (“bypassing”) will be disqualified from the race.
  3. Any participant who enters the race without using the official bib number or time chip assigned to him/her may be dismissed and disqualified from the race. Participants must put the chest number on the front of the other shirt.
  4. No party may be on the race route except those who have been registered or approved by the Organizer. Thus, no party is allowed to accompany the participant if he is not registered in the race or does not get permission from the Organizer.
  5. Medical assistance by a race official medical officer shall not be considered as assistance which will result in the participant being disqualified from the race. If a participant is in an unwell during or after the race and/or receives medical attention from the official medical officer of the competition, then the participant is required to provide detailed health information to the Organizer or parties authorized by the Organizer.


QUALIFICATION

  1. The race is open to men or women aged 18 years or over on race day, who are in good health and can complete the race without getting lost. For adolescents aged 18 or 19 years, parental/guardian consent is required.
  2. Participants will be asked during registration to provide details of the eligible event names and record time results.
  3. Dieng Skyrun 2022 No qualification required, but note that runners MUST prepare physically and psychologically, and it is highly recommended to read more and educate themselves with the nature and challenges of trail runs.
  4. The Organizer has the exclusive right to approve/reject registration, including the right to grant dispensation (with careful consideration) for those who do not meet the qualification criteria


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. You understand the unique nature and requirements of competing in long-distance trail running races. You will run in the darkness of the morning and all day through mountainous terrain and have done the necessary training to compete in such a race.
  2. You will be in charge of yourself and have the ability to deal with any issues that may be encountered during the race.
  3. You can face, on your own without assistance, deteriorating weather conditions (low temperatures, strong winds and rain) and other problems to expect while traveling across mountainous terrain.
  4. You are able to cope with extreme fatigue, internal organ and digestive problems, muscle aches, minor physical injuries and psychological problems on your own.
  5. You fully understand that you are responsible for addressing the above conditions 1 to 4 on your own and that it is not the responsibility of the race organization.
  6. You are fully aware that when participating in outdoor activities such as these races, your safety depends on your own skills and abilities.
  7. Video/television recordings, photos, articles, competition results, etc. can be used and/or displayed in newspapers, television, magazines, internet, pamphlets, etc.
  8. You understand and agree that these rights belong to the racial organization and may be used for this purpose.
